Cosy remote hotel… in a remote quiet place

Pros: It’s in a remote place, quite nice and quiet there… actually very quiet.

Cons: The reception is often non-accessible… at least when we tried.

Pros: Very quite place,comfortable beds,purposefully furnished and clean room,nice personnel :-) We were pleasured to stay here

Pros: So much history all around this building, converted so sympathetically for the hotel part , lovely room lovely gardens, great breakfast in a amazing dining area ,a large lounge to relax in, a kitchen to make yourself food or drinks , brilliant

Pros: I don't usually book Danhostal, but as I love the castles and old buildings, we had to visit to see it. We were very positive and surprised. Now, the review is to be seen in the light it is a Danhostal, not a 5-star hotel. I must express my positive experience. A beautiful place. Super service and kind staff. Amazing breakfast room. Caffe, etc., available 24/7. We appreciate it atay a lot and give it our warmest recommendations

Cons: there was nothing we did not like, but we would love to be able to have dinner in the lovely breakfast restaurant.

A wonderful experience ✨

Pros: Excellent location... I have always wanted to stay in a monastery and seep into the spiritual energy. This place is really out this world. Simply amazing... The openness that you enjoy from your window is purely exceptional. The herb garden is a wonderful spot to enjoy the bounty of nature. The breakfast buffet is in Monk's cellar, it is such a tranquil place to start your day and the common room with the historical fireplace and chandeliers is the best place to have your dinner. The room was spacious, the ceilings are so high -nothing that you can find in modern day buildings. The long beach and the forest behind offer beautiful walking trails. The whole staff was amazing; the warm welcome of Mikolaus and the last day farewell from Kasper made our hearts smile 💖 We definitely would like to come back.

Pros: I snevej og med minus 9 grader udenfor var det fantastisk at komme ind i et dejligt opvarmet værelse. Så søde og venlige unge mennesker/personale, der gør lige lidt extra for at man få et dejligt ophold. Lækker morgenmad, så blevet lavet 30 minutter før normale tid til os, da vi skulle køre inden den normale ville blive serveret.

Pros: at det er ungdommen som passa dette hotel var fantastisk sikert humør

Ein angenehmes und beeindruckendes Erlebnis.

Pros: Es war eine außergewöhnliche Erfahrung, in einem ehemaligen Kloster zu übernachten. Wie erwartet, war die Einrichtung etwas spartanisch, aber alles, was wir vorgefunden haben, war sauber und ordentlich. Für uns völlig ausreichend. Die ehrwürdigen Hallen zogen uns sofort in ihren Bann. Die Umgebung des ehemaligen Klosters mit dem Kräutergarten, dem historischen Friedhof und der Blick auf das Wasser aus unserem Zimmer ließen uns staunen. Das Frühstück war sehr liebevoll angerichtet und das Personal sehr freundlich.

Spændende at bo i så spændende og smukke historiske omgivelser.

Pros: Spændende oplevelse at bo på et 500 gammelt kloster med tykke mure og masser af historie. Skøn beliggenhed tæt ved Limfjorden med god udsigt og nemt til en gåtur til strand og klosterhave. Fint at stedet drives af en uddannelsesinstitution med gode muligheder for unge.
